Apple has done it again. After its success with its iPhone, Apple has developed a new tablet PC that offers more features to be enjoyed by the public. In actuality, Apple is not the first maker of tablet PC, but it has made the most effective strategy to make the public go crazy over their innovative product.

Apple iPad may look like it is an iPhone upgrade. Basically true, because most of the applications that are available in the iPhone are also featured in the new iPad. What sets the difference between the other Apple products is that the iPad operates in a new operating system. The iWork software used in iPad offers customized graphic styles, themes, animations and effects that are exclusively for iPad. There are also formatting tools and designed templates included. The software also boasts its 250 formulas for numbers as well as its sophisticated charts and tables.
iPad Specific
With its wide touch screen, users will have more room to work with. The iPad is just 0.5 inch thick and is very light in just 15 lbs. weight, which makes it easy to bring along just anywhere. It boasts its high definition LED backlight display the users will enjoy surfing the web even better. Consumers have the option to choose from the three different internal storage capacities and it is either WI-FI capable or WI-FI and 3G capable.
iPad Features
For developers, iPad offers SDK 3.2 beta for them to work with creating new applications and use iPad simulator to build and run these applications on the Mac.
For web graphic designers, the iPad features a brush application to make it easier for them to make new graphic designs.
The iPad also made reading eBooks more convenient with its large display screen. All eBook files are like placed in a virtual bookshelf.

The on screen keyboard is almost the same as the standard laptop keyboard and has word recognition and auto correction as well.
Just like other Apple products, the iPad uses the Safari web browser that offers a better web browsing experience. Also, it supports email applications such as Mobile me, Yahoo Mail, Gmail, Hot Mail and AOL. Other features include video, Youtube, iTunes, notepad calendar and satellite maps.
iPad Price
A basic iPad model, which is 16 GB and WI-FI ready, is expected to have an introductory prize of $499. For a more high-end model, expect the prize to go up to $829. Their top of the line product has a 64 GB internal storage and is WI-FI and 3G ready.
iPad Release
iPad models that are only WI-FI ready are expected to be shipped this March. Models that are 3G capable are expected to be shipped later, around the month of April.
